Burningkit stared at Pebblekit defiantly. "But Pebblestar! She had attacjed Wavewing!"
He turned his glare to Ashkit. "PondClan or not, you have no buisiness just leaping on our queens like that."
Wavewing crouched defensively next to Burningkit. "Just tell me when you want me to claw her pelt off."

Swallowtail looked around, narrowing her eyes as she saw that no one was coming out any sooner, she decided to take a risk and she jumped on the small cliff above the cave opening. She immediately camouflaged into the background, and turned around to watch the entrance.

"I know she attacked Wavewing,but that is no reason to attack her! She's trying to tell us something,the least you could do is listen!" She turned to Ashkit.
"Now,tell me,how have we been trespassing on Pondclan territory?My warriors would never do such a thing!"

Swallowtail narrowed her eyes at the playfight, but not in impatience. She twitched her ears, and she held in a soft purr. Kits... They never have to worry... The whole forest is their playtoy... She sighed, wishing her kithood had such fond memories.

Swallowtail cursed silently. She definitely saw the cats emerge from the cave, but all of them would have to come out if they were lingering near, otherwise they'd become frightened out of their wits. She exhaled out of gritted teeth, and decided to wait for the kits to come out. She wanted the apprentices, but these cats would have to do. She changed tactics, devising a new plan.

Silverstone whipped her head around to see Wolfclaw glaring feircely at Flametail, who was nonchalantly staring at Dragonpaw and Shiningpaw chat.
She shrugged it off, and led the group out of the cave.
"We need to go."

Burningkit glanced down at the ground under him. ".... PondClan territory?"
Wavewing shook her head swiftly. "No, Burningclaw, this has to be LakeClan territory; we've hunted here since we were all mere apprentices!"
"You're right," Burningkit mumbled. He turned to Pebblekit with confused amber eyes. "He's surely lying!"
Wavewing cut them off, grinning at the bushes where Ashkit disappeared. "He must be. But I'm itching for a good battle either way."
Burningkit looked at Wavekit, then at Pebblekit. "Um... Ashkit's the only "PondClan" cat. Maybe we should get Clawkit and Stormkit to play on her side too." he turned to Smokekit. "Then they need a medicine cat just like us, too."

Wavekit meowed slowly. "Um, Pebblekit? My "kits" are already here... I'm just still taking care of them."
Burningkit shrugged and turned his head swiftly as he saw Turtlekit leaping at Pebblekit.
"PondClan attack!" He yowled, and pushed Turtlekit out of Pebblekit's way. He turned to her. "Turtlefur didn't hurt you, did he?"

Burningkit grinned back at Pebblekit, and turned to lick her cheek. "Good." [ooooohhh, he's headin for the extremes!!! :O XD]
Suddenly, Wavekit let out a yowl of surprise. Stonekit had pinned her to the ground, and she helplessly flailed under his wait.
Burningkit immediately dashed from Pebblekit to Wavekit, shoving Stonekit out of her way. "Get out, Stonepelt!"

Silverstone burst into the camp, with Flametail, Wolfclaw, Sunheart, StarCloud, Hazepelt, Cloudedsky, Dragonpaw, and Shiningpaw behind her.
"Nettlestar!" She meowed loudly.
"Yes?" The brown tom looked up, and dashed toward them. "Oh, Silverstone! You're back!"
Silverstone dipped her head in respect. "Yes. We have found the Snow Cave, ad we think it may be a good spot to settle for about a moon or so...."
"Snow Cave? Nettlestar echoed confusingly.
"She means that large white cave ontop of the hill in our territory." Wolfclaw replied.
Burningkit bounced up to his aunt. "Silverstone, Silverstone!"
Silverstone smiled warmly at the young golden kit. "Yes, Burningkit?"
"You are back! Did you go on adventures? Like in the elder's tales?"
Silverstone laughed softly. "I suppose so."
Snowpelt, Silverstone sister, touched noses with her and Hazepelt. "Welcome back."
Hazepelt's booming laugh echoed in the forest. "I see your kits have grown well, Snowpelt. How's that ate of your's?"
Snowpelt laughed to. "Emberclaw is well, Hazepelt. I'm glad to see you came back in one piece."
Siverstone glanced around the crumbling camp. Cats from both clans aproached the journeying warriors. A few congratulated them, some cried in joy and excitement. It made her glad to see that everyone would be safe.

Pebblekit bounded up to Starcloud,mewing excitedly.
"Starcloud! You're back!" She yelped,clinging to her leg.Smokekit ignored Ashkit,and leapedeon Starcloud's back.

"Hey! Get off me!" Starcloud cried playfully,shaking lightly.Then,Pebblekit remembered Swallowtail.
"Um,Starcloud,can I go speak to Swallowtail?" She asked,pointing her muzzle at the medicine cat.
"Sure,who's to stop ya?" Starcloud replied,smiling.Pebblekit licked her cheek,then ran to Swallowtail.

During the fuss made about the returning cats, a she-cat stepped out of the bushes, making no effort to hide herself. The kits knew she was behind the troupe, although they didn't seem to tell the other cats. She slipped to the side of the forest unnoticed by the crowd of cats, glad for the distraction and the lack of attention to her arrival. It seemed no one noticed she was gone, or had returned. She narrowed her cold, piercing ice-blue eyes, and stood, waiting patiently for Pebblekit to approach her.

"Hey,Swallowtail! You wanted to speak to me?" Pebblekit squeaked.

As the small kit approached, the scowl disappeared and was replaced with a coy smile. "How's my favorite kit today? Did you have fun with your little friends?" she purred smoothly, beckoning her closer with her tail. When she hesitated, she chuckled. "Why, my little friend, come closer! I won't bite." She smiled, showing small, glistening teeth. "Soo.." she started, her voice as smooth as the pebbles on the bottom of a stream. "How's... life? Catch any good prey lately?" She bended over and licked the area below the nape of the kit's neck, as if sharing tongues with a tiny kit was something she did everyday.
"Umm.." Pebblekit stammered. "I'm only a kit. I'm not allowed to hunt yet." Swallowtail arched her back backwards, putting on a shocked look. "Really? But you were soo good at that game you were playing! It seemed like you were a natural." She bobbed her head, widening her eyes sincerely. Pebblekit was still a bit unsure. Something was... wrong here.

Burningkit tumbled onto his older brother Dragonpaw. "Hiya, Dragonpaw! Gosh, are you lucky to go with Silverstone on a journey like that! It musta been fun!"
Dragonpaw laughed as Burningkit bounced on his dark blue belly. "Yeah, it was great! There was a large white cave we lived in, a whole bunch of prey, a large lake-"
Burningkit saw Dragonpaw's eyes gleam with confusion and curiousity. "What is it?"
"What's Swallowtail talking to Pebblekit about? The small kit looks a bit uneasy, if you ask me."
Burningkit shrugged. To him, Swallowtail always seemed to scare him; the way she stared at the kits while they played made him uncomfortable.

Pebblekit backed up a bit,Swallowtail freaked her out. "T-thank you....." She mewed shyly.

"Oh, no, my little one." Pebblekit flinched at "my little one". Swallowtail watched, a devious smile growing on her face, further unnerving the kit. "We have many, many things to discuss, little Pebble." Pebblekit tried not to show her confusion at the way the she-cat said her name. She resisted the urge to correct the medicine cat. "Your apprenticeship, your potential warrior name, the prophecy..." Swallowtail purred, satisfaction playing on her lips as Pebblekit's ears perked up at "prophecy". "Do I really have a.. a prophecy?" Swallowtail nodded, wrapping her tail around the fidgety kit. "Oh, of course! Such a kit with such a mysterious history must have some prophecy after her?"
"Does Smokekit have a pr-prophecy too?" She interrupted, and instantly regretted it after the momentary glare she received from Swallowtail. Her features softened, and she replied simply, "Of course not. You're special." Pebblekit's insides squirmed, a mix of confusion, fear, and excitement.
"Let's go," Swallowtail said, practically dragging the kit in the grip of her tail. "Let's walk together. That way we can talk in private." Pebblekit squirmed, fear flitting across her eyes as the darkness of the foreboding forest came closer and closer, until it enveloped the two cats completely.
