Swallowtail backed off, knowing Viperfang was just as clever as she is, if not smarter. She quieted, but still watched with narrowed, suspicious eyes. She was not going to let Viperfang out of her sight.

Swallowtail eased down a bit, and skipped back to the medicine den, faking a sore paw. She sat down next to a bewildered Cougartrail, and muttered, "I had to make dirt..." He raised an eyebrow, but didn't question.

[ Hey, does anyone remember we're on the other side of a swollen river,
cuz I had to evacuate the clan cuz of the armada? And that our camp is proly flooded and (possibly) raided? X3 ]

Viperfang laid down beside another injured cat--an elder. She sighed and mewed words of comfortment. "Calm down.... All shall be fine... I promise. I wouldn't lie, would I?" The elder calmed as she spoke. Jaypaw walked up to her and mewed, "You'd be a good medicine cat." She smiled and mewed, "I'm born a warrior, you know."

Swallowtail allowed Cougartrail to groom her, and she gave his back-fur a short lick every once and a while. Her eyes, however, were trained on Viperfang.
She's up to something... Her eyes narrowed, watching quietly.

Viperfang sighed and lay next to hersister, eyes closed. Suddenly opening them, she saw Swallowtail staring at her. Training her gaze to Cougartail, she sighed and once again closed her eyes.

Seeing Viperfang do nothing didn't ease Swallowtail's fears. She shudder-sighed, and curled closer to Cougartrail, nuzzling his shaggy, dark fur, breathing in his deep, musky scent. "Oh, Cougartrail..." she murmured, letting her worries float away from her mind that moment.
"Mmm?" He nuzzled back, murmuring as well.
"I love you..." She closed her eyes, and her breathing become even.
"Mmm. So do I." He smiled, his eyes twinkling behind his shaggy fur.
Swallowtail smiled, her eyes closed in quiet bliss.
Soon, the two cats fell asleep in the late afternoon, their scents mingling.

Starpaw opened her eyes,and looked up to the skies(Holy fudgemuffins,that reminds me of a song! XD).The sun was rising slowly,starting to reflect it's light on the dew-covered leaves.Birds twittered as they flew above the cat's head.Starpaw yawned,and glanced down at Lionpaw.She licked his cheek,he let out a snore,which made her giggle.She prodded him playfully.
