Starpaw searched the whole camp,then ran back into forest,ignoring all the cats staring at her wierdly.She ran so fast,faster then any Breezeclan cat,Lionpaw couldn't keep up,so he stayed at camp.Her heart pounded against her ribcage,and she was breathing hard.
"Braveheart,Braveheart! Where are you?" She yelled,tears flying from her eyes.

Swerving ears caught the call of her sister. "I am no longer Braveheart, dear sister. I have taken on a new name..." She walked suddenly in front of her younger sister. "Would you like to know what it is?" She smiled half-heartedly, it never reached her eyes.

Starpaw halted,looking up at her sister.
"No,I don't! Braveheart is the only thing I want to call you! You can't just change your name! Why would you want to do that?" She replied,anger rising up in her voice.

Her voice was calm as she mewed, "Do you understand yet, dear sister? Your life is a test. As I am Viperfang, once Braveheart, you are Starpaw, soon to be a warrior." Her smile disapeared as she added, "Call me what you may, but I shall not respond to anything but my name." She looked stressed.

"Yes,I know.Life is a test,I've heard it many times,and I know I do not understand it fully,but I will learn,but not alone.Please,Braveheart! I need you,everyone needs you!" Starpaw mewed pleadingly.

"Pfft. The world needs one who could bend reality and twist it? Mess up some cat's minds? Are you sure of that, sister dearest?" She looked at Starpaw with unreceeding eyes. She wouldn't give up yet.

Starpaw held her gaze for a moment.
"Braveheart,what's happened to you? One moment you're happy and kind and the next......." She trailed off,looking down.

CougarTrail laid down next to Swallowtail, he began to rasp his tongue off her ears.

She started to get tears in her eys as well."Dont... leave... please... dont lave now!!!" she said calmly trying not to cry.

"This is what wa does to people, Starpaw. I'm leaving so it doesn't happen to anyone else. My power is uncontrolable... well, at least the one I haven't tried in awhile. But if I do agree to go back to camp, which I may agree to, I'll be at Moon Stone a lot, honing my powers." She smiled at her sister. "I agree to go back to camp, as long as I am allowed to go to Moon Stone. I don't want to hurt anyone."

Swallowtail twitched. Cougartrail murmured some words of comfort, then jumped back, alarmed. "Rowr!" Swallowtail yelped, and sprang up, immediately awake. The tom's eyes's widened, then leapt out of the way as the she-cat practically ran him over.
"Br-Viperfang!" She yelled, a fierce determination in her eyes. She breathed quickly as she ran, her paws barely skimming the ground. She closed her eyes as dirt flew by, under her paws. She didn't care, it didn't matter anyway.
"Viperfang!" She called again.

Starpaw crouched,her ears laying flat.
"I will,but I want to come with you,no matter what you say.You know I have powers too,and I haven't controlled them just as much as you have." She mewed.

"Iciclelight,it's me,your father,Hazeclaw.I'm so happy to see you,but I'm afraid we must leave.Go now,your friends need you." Teh tom said,smiling at her,then dissapearing.Crystalheart nodded.
"Yes,Iciclelight.But don't worry,we'll come to visit you in your dreams soon." She mewed,then went to join her mate.

CougarTrail raced after her, "swallowtail!" his paws made no noise on the leafy forest floor. He charged up to her side, "what is going on!?"

"Mom dad no!! please i dont want to!! i want to stay with you !! i love you!!" she meowed trying to convince them for her to stay

"Yes, well, no one else has to know my new name, eh? And it'd help you to go there, too." Smiling, she said, "Let's go back..."

"Don't worry Iciclelight,we love you too,and we forever will!" Crystalheart and Hazeclaw mewed at the same time.

Starpaw nodded in agreement,then followed her sister back to camp.

She walked slowly, soaking in her short freedom.

She layed there watching her parents leave into the darkness." I..I love yo" she said quitly and then woke up smileing.

Hearing a call, she muttered, "Dear StarClan... Swallowtail? Who are you calling?" she mewed at the upcoming cat. No one should know her new name. Smiling, she said, "Well then, I hope whoever it is, you find them!"

"Viperfang," Swallowtail glared at the former medicine cat [[ right? ]], her teeth bared. Starpaw watched in confusion, at the angry cat and her sister, who held a calm, strange smile on her face.

CougarTrail backed off abit, he didn't wanted to be around her or a cat that was going to act this out of no where,

Starpaw furrowed her eyebrows at Swallowtail,then stepped up to her.
"You have a problem,Swallowtail?" She growled.

Viperfang smiled to Swallowtail. "I'm sorry, you must have me confused. My name is Braveheart." Her eyes flickered towards the direction of camp. "I'm sorry. I really must be getting back. I passed out, and my sister was able to find me. See you!"

Starpaw followed her sister back to camp,and when they entered,she was immediately bombarded(lawl XD) with questions from Lionpaw.
"Where were you? Are you hurt? Did you find Braveheart?" He mewed worriedly.Starpaw laughed in amusement.
"Calm down,Lionpaw.I'm fine,and yes,I did find Braveheart." She said in reply,trying not to let out a mrreow of laughter.

She strechted and then went out to clean herself in a shadow patch of grass

"Iciclelight,why were you calling for help? You weren't going to Starclan,you silly cat!" She mewed.

She giggled "Yea... i know that know...i said help so someone could ake me up" she said still smiling

"Oh,I see.You saw you're mother and father,didn't you?" Starpaw replied,raising an eyebrow at Iciclelight.

Starpaw sighed.
"Well,to tell you the truth,I have a rather strong connection with StarClan,even if I'm not a mdedicine cat or leader.And I've had the honor of meeting many noble cats,such as Crystalheart and Hazeclaw."

She was stuned."Really!!Wow.." she paused and then a clear image of her parents apeared in her mind."thats really cool!!"

"I know,it's really cool.You're parents are really great,and they keep talking about you.I think they really miss you." She mewed in reply,smiling sympatheticly at Iciclelight.

"I understand.I mean,I miss my mother and father too.But I've never seem to have met them in StarClan.Once,I asked Stormstar to bring me to them,but he didn't.It's as if they didn't want to see me." Starpaw replied in a sad tone.

"Oh.." she said getting quite She went to the apprentice and rapped her tail around her."I am sure they want to see you!!.." "But.. maybe they have duties to atened to and theyw ant to see yiou.. but they cant."

"Maybe,but I really want to see them.I just don't understand why they can't see me,I'm so confused." The blue-gray she-cat whispered. "But I'm not that sad,I mean,I have a sister,and great friends too! You're one of them,Iciclelight!" She continued,smiling cheekily at the white she-cat.

Swallowtail stared at "Braveheart", whom she knew was Viperfang. She stared icily at her back, tail lashing angrily.
"What do you plan to do, Viperfang?" She narrowed her eyes. "You're not thinking of leaving, are you?"

"Braveheart, my name is. You know that." She glared icily at the cat and then stalked off to see her sister.

"Hey,Braveheart." He mewed. Starpaw smiled.

[[ Wait, people. If "Viperfang" doesn't want anyone to know her new name, shouldn't no one know her name? Like, acknowledge her as Braveheart, not Viperfang. It's okay for Braveheart/Viper cuz it's her character, but it doesn't make sense if everyone else uses it. :/ ]]
