"Um....Lionpaw,could you help me get this mouse off?" Starpaw mewed.Lionpaw chuckled,then padded up to her.

"You're a strange cat,ya know that? First you get mad at me just for laughing a bit,then you're sad because Stormstar told you the inevitable truth,and now you need my help?" Lionpaw said,raising an eyebrow at her.

"But I guess that's why so many toms like you." He continued,grabbing the mouse by the scruff.

Grunting, Braveheart ran towards the sea of monsters, claws unsheathed. Scowling, she bite the necks of many, killing them. One fox she ran into was pure white and had amber eyes. "Hellow, Yellowstar. Here to help?" "Of course," purred Yellowstar. "I have allies everywhere," mewed Braveheart happily.

Starpaw then noticed all the creatures approaching her.Growling,she unsheated her claws,and her fur bristled.She ran fast,and jumped on a fox,bit it quickly on the neck,surprisingly killing it.Lionpaw was shocked to see an apprentice kill a fox four times her size.
Well,Stormstar did say she and Braveheart had great powers,He tought.

Starpaw lashed her claws at another fox that came up to her,scarring it's face permanetely.Her eyes glowed again,and her claws grew slightly longer.She seemed to be floating above all the monsters as she leaped over them.She landed gracefully in a nettle patch,skidding lightly to the side.Just as she was about to attack another beast,the power washed away.

"Starpaw,you cannot use your powers for too long,not until you master them." Stormstar mewed to her mentally. A badger charged at the she-cat,as she scrambled up a tree,hissing.

Meanwhile, Swallowtail was quickly regaining consciousness. Fatigue made her muscles sore, but a quick stretch fueled her forward the gaining mass of animals. She figured the best would be to calm the clan and get them to a safe place. But where? she thought. Some of those animals can climb, so trees are out of the question... The gourge would be too easy for the rats... Her mind spun. A droplet of water fell on her face, the clouds above her darkening.
Of course! Water! Her eyes widened, and she yowled her thanks to Starclan, and yowled at every cat she passed to head for the river. She looked nervously at the sky. Hopefully we'll get every one across the river before it overflows...

"There's no time!" Swallowtail screeched, worry and intense doubt taking a hold of her mind, which was running faster than the churning waves at the sun-drown-place. (She'd only been there once, but once was enough to remember a whole lot of things.) She herded a few queens off toward the river, carrying tiny kits in their mouths protectively. Warriors tried to help the able elders off toward the river; the ones immobile had guards that took them to a hidden area; if any menace should come, they would fight with their lives. Her eyes darted back and forth, watching for confused cats who strayed away from the huge mass heading for the river. She chewed on her whiskers worredly, the enemies could have well seen them by now and changed direction. She stared upward, still anxious about the weather, as well. She told the leading (most calm were elected) warriors to take the cats as far from the river as possible; best in a sheltered area, easy to escape and hard to corner cats in.

CougarTrail blinked a few times before yawned, "huh? wheres everyone gone?" he yawned bewildered, up ahead he could see a massive of reds greys etc "i have to warn the clan!" he whispered and vanished into the forest. He come across the river where eveyone had crossed "SwallowTail!" he yellwed

Swallowtail yelled to Cougartrail, but the words were snatched away by the roaring river, which was beginning to expand in the steadily falling rain. He wasn't going to make it if he didn't cross soon... her eyes darted around, looking for a safe place to cross. She spotted a loose branch waving wildly in the wind, and she got an idea. After checking to make sure the clan was far away and somewhat safe, she scanned the trees for a firm target; once she found it, she crouched low, her insides churning at the thought of falling into the river. She gulped, and leaped. Her paws scrabbled on the slippery, wet bark, but she was able to hoist herself up. "Cougartrail!" She yelled, over and over, trying to get his attention and keep her balance at the same time. Strong winds buffeted her fur, nearly knocking her over and out of the tree.

Sheathing her claws, Braveheart, with a flick of her paw killed a badger. "See, Yellowstar? Just like with your father." "Yes. Just." Braveheart could already controll her powers. They hadn't gone into dormancy. She's practice regularly. Sprouting her wings from StarClan and the other powers. Of course, she and Starpaw both had different powers. Starpaw had levitation while all the most she had flying. Opening her eyes, se kept killing the animals like that, the rats the easiest. She's just step on their necks. Her eyes glowed a mysterious blue, and then turned amber. Like her fathers. Looking at the approaching beasts, she mewed, "Ready or not, tonight, you all die." Wind lashed her face as Braveheart calmly advanded, continuing her killing spree. "Starpaw. Where's that mouse? I need him. Lipnpaw! GIVE IT!" She ordered. She may not be a deputy or warrior, but still--she kn ew what to do.

Starpaw watched as Braveheart killed all the beasts that challenged her,tears streaming down her face.She was scared,she had never seen her sister so angry.It's like some evil creature was taking over her,and no one could stop it.She just wanted to tell Braveheart to stop,that this was not necessary,but she was too afraid.Her heart raced as she saw her sister kill a young fox.

"Starpaw,you must stop Braveheart.She is getting uncontrolable." Stormstar said in a worried tone. "But she'll kill me as well! I'm too weak,not like her,she has always been so strong." "But you're her sister,and apprentice.You two were always so close,even if Braveheart and you never knew that you were related.Only you can stop her,because you care for her just as much as she cares for you.There is nothing more powerful then that."

Starpaw lifted her head to the sky,and she saw all of Starclan before her,flying swiftly in the sky.

In fright Cougartrail darted up the tree, he had alot of training climbing trees even wet ones. But when it come to the the thin branches he had trouble. "Swallowtail keep your grip on the tree!" he ordered whilest he made his way towards Swallowtail. "can you get to where i am?" he yellwed in the roaring wind

Eyeing Yellowtsra, she mewed, "What now? Where's their leader?" She closed her eyes and placed her paws firmly on the ground. She purred, and her eyes dulled. "There, father. Happy now?" Growling, she walked out of the crowd with Yellowstar in tow. No one else knew that Yellowstar was good. She was a fox. A pure white fox with amber eyes.

Mousebrain! She thought. He obviously didn't understand what was going on. She seethed, trying to yell over the wind, but it was no use. The fierce wind carried away any noise, replacing it with whirling whooses. The rain was falling heavily now, soaking her pelt to the bone, and her teeth chattered, adding itself to the storm raging in her ears and eyes. She blinked against hard raindrops.

Swallowtail shut her eyes closed, and finally leaped off the branch, the slippery texture making her almost stumble off. She jumped toward the direction she thought Cougartrail was, and prayed she wouldn't regret this. She felt her body slam to the ground, and mud coating her muzzle and belly. "Swallowtail! Swallowtail!" She heard distantly, under the rain that was pelting her painfully. Pain shot through her hind left leg, and she groaned, or at least would of if not she had nearly choked on thick, cool mud.

The cold wind pressed against Cougartails fur as he put his head under the branch, desperately trying to find here Swallowtaail. He notcied her laying soaked in mud, "stupid-furball!" he half laughed and half-serious. "can you get up?"

"Ughnn.." Swallowtail forced herself upward, grunting and with one eye closed, covered in mud. Pain throbbed through her hind leg, she expected it to swell and bother her later. But now, she had to hurry. "We... have... to help... Braveheart!" She gasped, and tried to limp toward the massive, advancing army. "They'll... overcome... her!" She wheezed as she walked, and wondered if she would be able to be of any help to a strong, fighting warrior if she was weak and already deeply pained. She began to feel her regret from earlier.

"ALL CATS STAY BACK!" Yowled Braveheart. Her voice carried above the wind and sounded like thunder to every cat. "STAY BACK OR YOU'LL GET KILLED!" A screech was heard, and then dead silence. Even the rain seemed to stop for that second.

Braveheart Unsheathed her claws and went back to skillfully killing the enemies. She wasn't using her power anymore. She had to use them earlier for the badger, but now it was just a game... Scowling, she killed most rats with a step, but stopped killing the foxes. They were helping her.

Yellowstar folled Braveheart's lead and began to kill rats again. No more badgers, she thought. Barking with laughter, she looked at the tiny evil rats. Her eyes glowed with the power of her ancestors that did good. Laughing again, she said to Braveheart, "Amazing, look! The foxes are helping!"

She couldn't help but laugh as she mewed back, "I know! They must see the good in it!" Smiling, she came up to a fox and mewed, "Thank you for your help." Bowing for a split second,s he quickly returned to battle. The rain poured down, never ending. It was painful.

Starpaw took a deep,shaky breathe,then leaped from the tree and landed on a group of rats,crushing them and biting their necks.She growled fiercely,unsheating her claws;now she was furious.She suddenly couldn't see,she was blinded.But she could still hear and smell.Guided by her keen sense of hearing,she swung her paws at the rats that tried to attack her from behind.The smell of rat blood swept up in her nostrils,it was not pleasant.She then felt something crash into her,something big and very heavy.

Iciclelight ran out of the medicne cats den because she heard yelping. She went to a ledge and saw that a huge battle was gooing ono. "Foxes... are helping." she could feel breathing on her neck. She turned around and sawa HUGE dog was behind her with a whole group of rats. "AHHH!!!" she screamed and then the dog picked her up by the neck and then went down to the battle.
((yea... i hope it's okay if a HUGE dog leads the rats ^^; and she gets take hostage ^^;)

Swallowtail whipped her head to Braveheart's call, mud clinging to her pelt and covering her eyes. She slammed right into the foggy shape that was Cougartrail, she pushed him down, out of the way. Rats swarmed, getting closer. Her paws and claws ached to fight, but she told herself, Soon, don't worry, soon. She concentrated on making sure Cougartrail wasn't hurt by her sudden move, and hastily slapped her wet fur out of her eyes and shook out the mud and rain, which were fogging up her vision.

It was a badger,a blind one.Starpaw knew it,even though she was blinded for the moment.Rage took over her as she shoved the badger off of her.She heard Iciclelight's cry,and ran to her.
"Iciclelight! Watch ou! Rats are behind you!" She yelped angrily.She then heard another yell,it was Lionpaw.He was fighting off a small,yet strong,badger.Starpaw's vision suddenly came back and she saw Lionpaw being beaten up by the badger.She gaped her mouth open as tears streamed once again down her cheeks.She shook her head,trying not to cry.

No,he deserves it for being such a jerk.B-but,he could get killed,She tought.

No,I don't care if he dies,She said to herself again.But when she looked at him again,she felt hurt herself.

But I love him,and even if he doesn't love me,I don't care.I'm the one who deserves to die. And she leaped on the badger,claws unsheated,tail held high,her lips curled into a snarl.

"Lionpaw,run!" She yelled.

Starpaw looked around,rats were attacking Lionpaw,biting and clawing him.Lionpaw whimpered helplessly,which only made Starpaw angrier.She couldn't take it anymore,she didn't want to see the only one she loved get hurt.She quickly killed the badger(Impressive,right?) then clawed viciously at the rats,anger rushing into her veins.Lionpaw limped away slowly,a dazed look on his face. "Starpaw......" He whispered to himself.He had never seen Starpaw so determined,so strong,and so vicious.Rain started to fall and washed away the blood on his pelt.He looked up at the sky.

"Stonestar,Starpaw is doing everything for me.Why?"He mewed to her.
"Lionpaw,have you ever realized how much she's tried to help you?Or are you too blind to see that?" Stonestar mewed back. "But I don't deserve her help,she's been helping all the time,and I never helped her back.She could get killed and that would all be because I never helped her.I don't deserve anything from her.She'll never love me." He sighed sadly,looking down.

"You have every right love her,and so does she.Now go help her,I shall give you strenght,and that is all." She replied,placing a ghostly paw on Lionpaw's head.Lionpaw felt stronger by minute,and his wounds healed faster then you can say 'mouse-brain'(Tee hee <3).He nodded at Stonestar thankfully,then joined teh battle,letting out a battle cry.

Closing her eyes, she whispered, "Dear me..." and smiled. Her eyes were a glowing neon green now, her own force.... her own powers. Flicking her tail, she whispered somewords, and many enemies fell. Smiling, she whispered, "Welcome." Her eyes soon reverted back, and all was well. "Hi!" she said cheerily. "So, why are there so many enemies on the ground, dead?!" She couldn't remember using her own power yet. Not until she could controll it.

Starpaw and Lionpaw had finished off the rest of the rats.The dog that was leading them let go of Iciclelight,and ran away,growling. "You haven't seen the last of me!" He yelled.

"And we'll be ready!" Lionpaw yelled back.He turned to a tired Starpaw,and she approached him slowly.Starpaw licked his shoulder gratefully,smiling warmly at him.Lionpaw returned that smile.She looked around,she saw Iciclelight laying on the ground,and Jaypaw talking to Braveheart.Starpaw was confused.Braveheart looked so angry,and now she was as calm as the blowing winds.She just shrugged,obviously trying to forget about what Stormstar said.

"C'mon,Lionpaw.Let's go help Iciclelight." She mewed,running up to Iciclelight.Lionapw followed,smiling weakly.

Swallowtail looked away from the nearly-unconscious Cougartrail, and her eyes glowed, seeing the commotion in the distance. "Help... Starpaw..." She murmured, and she lay a paw on Cougartrail, letting energy flow to him, and she closed her eyes, and sent a shock to Starpaw, and soon, she herself was shaking harder than ever. She had never sent a direct shock before, especially without the receiving end knowing. She sighed, and lay her head on Cougartrail's chest, his heartbeat in her ears and his breath in her face. Exhaustedly, she fell asleep.

Starpaw felt the shot,and she knew it was Swallowtail.
"Lionpaw,you take Iciclelight.Swallowtail needs my help." She ordered,pointing her tail at the distant figures of Cougartrail and Swallowtail. He nodded,then grabbed Iciclelight by the scruff.Starpaw ran to Swallowtail,panting hard,and nudging her in the flank.
"Swallowtail,get up and help me with Cougartrail." Starpaw said.

Waking up, she realized Starpaw was trying, with difficulty, even with the shock, to help her and Cougartrail. She woke immediately and wondered if she knew what she had done to her.

[ Hehe, it's part of Swallowtail's powers. She could see you were weakening, and tired, and she sent a strength to you. ^^ It was the first time she'd done it through long distance, especially at a time like this, that's why she's so exhausted. ^^ ]

Swallowtail grunted, and slowly moved, her paws feeling like lead. She never felt so tired after using her powers, but then again she never tried that one before. She knew she could have done it, but she didn't try it until now. She shuffled around, trying to move Cougartrail, losing herself in his warm scent. She sighed deeply.

Swallowtail did not feel up to jokes and teasing. She wearily obeyed, holding most of the heavy tom's weight on one shoulder. Stumbling blindly, she let Starpaw lead the way, trusting the small apprentice completely.
