Laughing still ,she mewed coaxingly, "Take the final blow, and we'll train, okay?" The mouse struggled as it tried to escape. She smiled willingly. It would be an exciting day with her apprentice.

Smiling happily, she mewed, "Good job!" and stalked to the training area. She smiled again as she walked full stride to teh center of the area and sat like a queen. "Ready?" she asked, settling in a fighting stance.

"I was born ready!" Starpaw replied,dashing straight behind Braveheart at full speed.

Silverstone caught sight of Froststar, and bounded toward her. "Froststar! We need border patrol now! The other clans ALL have marked inside our territory."

Silverstone turned to Starpaw with a glimpse of fear in her chilling blue eyes. "Yes, Starpaw, what is it?"

Braveheart's ears pricked up and she quickly turned around and pounced lightly on Starpaw. She missed as Starpaw ran up to Silverstone. "Enemy markings, eh?" muttered Braveheart. "I'll fix that."

When Froststar heard the news she was angry. "So the other clans think they can just take over our terroritory just because we havent had a good season?" She was annoyed. "Silverstone, take two warriors and an apprentice." Her eyes lightened as she looked at Starpaw, "Which thats means you."

"Starpaw," mewed Braveheart athoritizingly, "I think it's better you not. You're a new apprentice, and it's dangerous. What about you, Silverstone?" Braveheart pleaded mentally, Not this apprentice, not mine. Her heart fell when she heard Froststar say That Starpaw would be going. Her eyes flickered to Starpaw, saying to be on top guard. Turning to Froststar, she mewed, "I'll go, too."

Only if Braveheart approves." Silverstone meowed, nervously. She was astounded that ALL of the other clans would do such a thing as mark into their territory. "Which is probably a no."

Starpaw saw the way Braveheart was staring intensely at the deputy,which made her curious.But se asked no questions and she was excited to finally be able to go on border patrol.

Froststar nodded towards Braveheart. Then turned to Starpaw, "Starpaw you are a growing apprentice, this should be exciting for you. It could lead to your warrior naming ceremony."

"I approve, Silverstone. It'll--It'll be good practice, though I suggest being careful, Starpaw." Sighing, Braveheart sat and quietly washed her chest until they left.

Silverstone nodded, her eyes bringing off a soft glow. "It is alright to be afraid for your apprentice, Braveheart. Every new mentor is like that." She laughed weakly. "I remember when you were my first apprentice!"

"You were Silverstone's apprentice?" Starpaw asked to her mentor.

Braveheart laughed also and smiled meekly. "I'm just too fast, Silverstone, that's all. And maybe too skinny... and long, but that's all!" joked Braveheart. She was the fastest, skinniest, and has the longest taill in all of her Clan. Smiling then quietly laughing, she looked to Silverstone. "Well, we should be going, shouldn't we? Huh? Yes, Starpaw, I was. That's why I'm so powerful!" Braveheart laughed and lightly cuffed Starpaw on the ear. "And so I know you'll get a good education!"

Starpaw purred.Braveheart was always her favorite cat in all teh clan.In fact,she was the one who chose Braveheart to mentor her. "Now let's go!" Starpaw yelled excitedly. she padded quickly to the camp entrance,not even looking if the two others would follow.

Braveheart looked meekly at Silverstone then bounded after Starpaw. She caught up in a second and rushed ahead. Circling back, she looked at Starpaw. "Silverstone is right. There are a lot of other Clan's cats on out territory."

"I am never going to try and catch fish again!" grumbled CougarTrail, having some difficult getting out of the water. Everytime he tried to get up onto the grassy bank, his claws would slid back down in the mud. "argh" he howled, he absolutely hated water espically its icy touch. He swayed on his back paws and with a gaint bound he leapt onto onto the bank. "Finally" he panted but he looked back, he noticed he didn;t bring up the dead fish he had caught. His face darken, "i'm not get it. Yes we have to or what will the clan think? you've spent all morning doing nothing, you need to bring back some prey!" his mind agueed.
"Fine, you win" he spat and skidded back into the mud spraying it everywhere. CougarTrail marched over to the fish that was floating in the shallow end of the water, his paws making a slushy sound in the mud, he picked up with muuch dislike. Again the black toms face darken he saw a easier way to get out, slowly he marched up to look-alike-grass-steps, his paws covered in mud. When he got up he dropped the fish and suddenly glared at it.

Froststar watched as the cats made their way out of the tunnel. She wished she was that care-free. Not having a clan to worry about. Not that it mattered to her. She knew it was what her father wanted. She sat down underneath the Entrance to her den. It was hard sitting here, it was what her father always did watching over his clan. She sighed and padded over to the medicine cat den. "Iciclelight? Are you in here?"

Starpaw crinkled her nose as a strange scent swept up into her nostrils.She halted in front of a large rock and leaped onto it. "I smell something!" She cried out to her mentor. "It smells so sweet,and yet prickly at the same time." She meowed little lower.

Silverstone smiled. "It could be those herbs that you can only find in this area. They are water lilys." Or could it be the StoneClan scent? Her description sounds exact. Silverstone began to worry.

CourgarTrail picked up the slimely fish and retreated back to the comfort of the dry camp. "I should get some herbs incase i get a cold" he meowed outloud, giving himself a big shake. He threw the fish into the clans fresh kill pile, as he spung around he saw FrostStar looking for Iciclelight the clans medince cat. "I guess its important" he waited outside paitently, his tail flickered side to side.

"Silverstone. It's not water lillies. Look. StoneClan. They're on our territory!" hissed Braveheart in a low voice. "Starpaw. Stay low, and keep alert." Braveheart's eyes flickered right to left. There was a whole patrol on their territory. Her face turned to a scowl as she looked to Silverstone. "We should tell Froststar! You two go back. I'll see if I can talk peacefully. Listen for the 'ol signal, Silverstone. Just like when I was your apprentice!"

The signal. It was a painful yowl. It had hurt Braveheart's voice when she was a kit, she had yowled for help. That's why her voice was damaged. Her vocal cords had gotten used to it, and so now she could yowl like that whenever. But she hadn't in awhile. What would happen, she didn't know. Barveheart had a powerful aura about her. She was sure that she'd be able to talk to the patrol.

OOC: Um, i don't know what you were talking about on that second paragraph, so i'll just answer to what you said, srry. ^^;

Silverstone looked at Braveheart.
"No." she meowed firmly. "You will not deal with them alone. Starpaw, you go back to camp and alert Froststar. I'll work things out with them."
She padded slowly to the group of StoneClan cats, her eyes locked on the leader of the patrol, Shadowclaw.
"By any chance," Silverstone meowed with a hint of sarcasm to him. "Do you know that you and your friends' tails are mingling in StormClan territory?"

"Alright,Silverstone.I'll go alert Froststar." Starpaw mewed in a hushed voice.She turned,and waited a few more heart-beats before heading back to camp,glancing at her mentor.

Looking at Silverstone, Braveheart followed and nodded solemnly. She remembered one of them, but she shook it off.

"Hmm." Iciclelight turned her head "Yes i am... just organizing the herbs.. and i was about to go and get more cobwebs, Juniper Berries and some more wild garlic.... i think i should get wild garlic because this is the season where snake, and rats start to come. Oh yes, and a little Marigold." she paused after talking "When may i leave to get the herbs?" she asked Froststar>

And almost as if on cue,Starpaw ran into the medicine cat den,nearly knocking over a pile of herbs Iciclelight had neatly arranged."Froststar!Stoneclan are trespassing on our territory!." She panted.

Smiling sweetly, she noticed she was shaking. Closing her eyes, she took a sharp intake of breath as someone scratched her on the leg. "What the?!? Juniperpaw?!" mewed Braveheart to her old friend. They had met when they were apprentices. "Yup! Actually JuniperPELT. Meet my mate, Shadowclaw." "Um, Juniperpelt, you are all on out territory," mewed Braveheart meekly. Shadowclaw then turned his head swiftly to Braveheart and slammed his buff body into hers. Juniperpelt gasped. Braveheart lay there, gasps of breath filling her breath. Juniperpelt stood there with horror on her face. She looked at Shadowclaw, and then mewed quietly, "You promised you wouldn't hurt anyone, Shadowclaw." "Yes, but she was about to attack." "She would never do anything of the sort, Shadowclaw. She wasn't ordered to," said a voice. Vision slightly obstructed, Braveheart saw the form of Jaypaw. She nodded solemnly and closed her eyes, her breathing slowly regulating. Jyapaw looked to Braveheart and nodded as a signal she would be alright.

Braveheart looked to Silverstone, then Jaypaw. She could see Lionpaw next to him. Shakily, she stood and looked to them all. "I-i-i-im fine... I-i j-jus-just think I'm a little dizzy. I'll be fine in a... I'm better!" Braveheart nodded to them all. Juniperpelt sighed of relief, Jaypaw smiled, Lionpaw slightly smiled, and Shadowclaw hissed at her. She retorted back, "Try all you want, Shadowclaw." She then smirked and let out a ferocious hiss. Shadowclaw looked taken aback, as she took a tiny-kit step back. "Just keep trying, Shadowclaw. You'll never get us. And I was getting off on a good start, too. Oh well. Silverstone, what now? I know everybody but Shadowclaw if fine. Apparently there's some kind of treaty. What's going on, Juniperpelt?" "A foreign Clan is taking over our territory!" "What Clan?" "We have no idea! That's why we're here!" "I see. I'm sorry, but there's nothing we can do without Froststar's permission." "I understand, Braveheart. Maybe you could help us, though." "Maybe. Just maybe."

Starpaw came suddenly came running into the clearing,with Froststar and Iciclelight right behind her.Panting hard,she looked at all the cats around her,until her gaze rested on Lionpaw.He turned his head towards her and smiled.Starpaw noticed this and blushed,nervously turning to her mentor.

"Why in the name of StarClan are you on our territory?" Silverstone snarled at Shadowclaw. "Must I point out the direction of your own clan?"
Shadowclaw smirked. "You couldn't stop us even if you and your pathetic clan tried."
Silverstone's icey blue glare burned into the StoneClan warrior. Shadowclaw flinched, but remained ground.
"If you so much as take aother step in StormClan," she slowly worked her way towards him, her long, sharp claws extending. By the time she was nearly touching noses with Shadowclaw, one of the other warriors pushed him back.
"Stop, Shadowclaw," the sleek gray tom meowed quickly. "This was a bad idea from the start." It was Stormfur.
He smiled nervously at Silverstone. "We are sorry."

OOC: Lol, yes, I AM USING STORMFUR!! MWAHAHAHA! *hugs stormfur and purrs*
You can use Jaypaw, Braveheart, but I am taking the Storminator! w00t!

Silverstone, not taking her eyes away from Stormfur, meowed. "Nothing, Starpaw. These StormClan warriors know what they are to do."
Stormfur smiled in relief, and turned to the others. "Lets us go now."
As the others moved away, Stormfur meowed quietly to Silverstone. "They think we are here to take prey, but I only agreed to join because I wanted to find out if SnowClan was stealing fresh-kill in your territory as well."
Silverstone gasped, then whispered. "They're stealing from the other clan's terrtory?"
Stormfur nodded gravely, and murmured. "That's what me and the MistClan deputy, Thistlestorm, are trying to find out."
That's right, Silverstone thought, Stormfur became deputy earlier. Does tat mean...
"We want you to help us," Stormfur admitted. "The leaders already know, because they thought we could figure it out without disturbing the others."
"Then why didn't Froststar tell me this?"
The glistening gray tom shrugged. "They just assembled it, maybe she hasn't got the time right now. But will you help?"
"Of coarse," Silverstone smiled. "Anything to protect the clans." Stormfur grinned. "Tonight at the Willow Woods."
Silverstone nodded, and looked at the others. ((WHO DIDN"T HERE A WORD)) "Let's go. We need to cover the other spots."

Starpaw watched Stormfur pad over to Silverstone,but no one else seemed to notice.He whispered a few words to her,although the dark blue-gray she-cat couldn't hear.As she rose to her paws and was about to leave,she wondered if Silverstone liked the gray tom.She smirked at this thought and turned to follow Braveheart.But she wasn't really paying attention,and accidentally bumped into Lionpaw,almost making him fall.Stuttering,she apologized. "Oh! I-i'm sorry! I-i d-didn't mean to kn-knock you over!" She yelled at herself mentally.Nice one,Starpaw! The ginger tom turned to meet her.He just smiled and spoke softly. "Naw,it was my fault.I shouldn't have gotten in the way." And to that Starpaw let out a sigh of relief.He just grinned,which made her blush even more.He is pretty cute. She tought.

Starpaw blinked at him,swiping a paw over her left ear,then joining her mentor and Silverstone. Gosh,I hope I DO see him at the Gathering.He seems so nice.Oh man1 I forgot to ask him his name! Not knowing that she was smiling, Silverstone shook her head swiftly.
"Um...," she looked back at where Stormfur and Lionpaw disappeared, blusing. "Nothing. It's just..."
She looked down to smile again at Starpaw. "I'm guessing you kinda like a StoneClan cat too?" she felt like an apprentice again talking this way.

Silverstone laughed, remembering when she used to like Stormfur when they were apprentices.
"Its a thing with StoneClan," Silverstone explained. "They always have the toms that are sweet, kind, and... what you would now call 'cute'."

"Guys. I don't know if I can breath properly. You go ahead, okay. Bye!" she called to Jaypaw. She didn't know his name, but she clearly liked him. Looking to the two, she nodded. She was going to say thanks to Lionpaw.

"Lionpaw!" she called. He and Juniperpelt were the only two StoneClan cats she was friendly with. She smiled a sshe caught up with the patrol at the border. "Thanks. That was awesome of you to be there. So, how's training?" She was limping as she thanked the cats.

Starpaw blushed.It was true.Lionpaw was pretty cute to her eyes.She barely knew the Stoneclan apprentice,and yet he seemed so kind.She looked over to Braveheart and replied to her call. "Um..Okay Braveheart! But can we train a bit more when you get back?"
