Jaypaw looked at the silver warrior curiously. It wasn't like her to snap at an apprentice.

"You know what guys,I'm going back to camp." Starpaw spat,turning to camp.Everyone just stared at her rather curiously.This kind of behavior from Starpaw was pretty unsual.

Jaypaw and Braveheart, not wanting to interupt the other's conversation after Silverstone's hiss, started mewing quietly amongst themselves. "I wonder where we're going!" whispered Braveheart. Jaypaw nodded and whispered, "Thanks for the advice. So... did you really go blind for a month?" "I did, and my hearing is still beter than most cat's." Jaypaw nodded and stared at the ground.

"What's it like to see?" asked Jaypaw. This question caught Braveheart by surprise so much, she almost tripped. "Well, Jaypaw... It's not all it's cracked up to be. I'd rather be blind tahn anything else. Sight... well, sight isn't as important as taste, and feel, and hearing. Believe me. It's not all that great." "I see..." he joked, adding see to it. They quietly laughed as they walked.

Silverstone continued to lead the group in silence, suddenly, a hazy cat began to appear in front of her.
"Tigerstar!" she gasped. "Oh, Tigerstar!"

Braveheart stopped. Jaypaw whispered, "Can you see him?" "Yes," whispered Bravepaw, "But, and this is no joke, I'm blind again. Only darkness is around Tigerstar." "That isn't good, Braveheart. What should we do?" "I don't know... I really don't know... Ah!" ywoled Braveheart. She and Jaypaw suddenly heard a terrible screeching sound coming from no where. Braveheart fell to her stomach and she cringed, Jaypaw the same. "Spirits!" whispered Braveheart. Jaypaw nodded, ears flat against his head.

Suddenly, a tail wrapped around her shoulders. "Don't you reconize me? a harsh voice murmured.

"Braveheart!" "Jaypaw! Shh... Cam down... I'll help you. Follow my voice... Please... I beg of you." Jaypaw nuzzled Braveheart as a yes, and then set next to Braveheart. "Silverstone!" cried Braveheart and Jaypaw. "Where are you?!" Hearing the slightly familiar voice, Braveheart shook for a second, then regained controll. She had caught Silverstone's scent. And another cat's she stood stock still as she murmured, "Jaypaw, don't move a muscle."

Silverstone shuddered from the touch of Tigerstar. "What do you want?"
"You. To help me?"
"... okay."
"I need you to... kill... Firestar."
"What?!"
"He's the reason I'm dead. Don't you want to take revenge on my death?" he whispered.
Silverstone reamined silent.
"I thought so."
Suddenly, all the haze and shadows disappeared, returning to the forest.

"The spirit is gone... but I'm still blind, Jaypaw. Does that mean... We'll see him again?" "Yes, apparently so." "I was afraid of that..." murmured Braveheart, sitting down calmly. Jaypaw did the same and lay against Braveheart. He fliched as he said, "You're frozen, Braveheart. Maybe we should go back..." "I don't feel too good... Maybe we should..."

Silverstone, who felt slightly faint, went to find the others. "Jaypaw? Braveheart?"
"Silverstone!" Jaypaw exclaimed. "Thank StarClan we're all here... and safe."
"I wish..." Silverstone murmured.
The cats walked slowly and silently back to camp. Silverstone began to shiver uncontrollably. Jaypaw pressed his flank against her's. "We are all cold. Don't worry about it; it's just the aftershock."
Silverstone smiled weakly. "Sure, Jaypaw."

"Him... Tigerstar... I must go!" shouted Braveheart weakly. She turned and ran away from camp to the High Stones. She wasn't a medicine cat or leader, but she felt she must go there. She ran as fast as she could and panted heavily.
